If you love to use your Silhouette to make cards or tags then this challenge is for you! Mixing stamping and cutting files is always welcome. If you've been neglecting your poor little Cameo or SD and wish you had some motivation and inspiration to use it more, then come join us!
{Our first challenge begins on August 11}
DESIGN TEAM CALL
Of course we'll need some experienced Silhouette Cameo users to join our Design Team. Maybe that will be you? I guess that all depends on how you answer the following questions:
• Do you own a Silhouette Cameo or SD?
• Do you create cards or tags using your Silhouette?
• Would you like to challenge yourself and inspire others?
• Do you have an active blog?
• Can you take well lit photographs of your projects?
• Do you enjoy visiting and commenting on player's blogs?

This call will be open from July 10 and ends on July 24 at 9 a.m. (EDT). Please email us with 3 samples of your best Silhouette Cameo cards or tags with a link to your blog and a list of your design team experience. (no experience is required)
Please Email submissions to rockwelldesigns@gmail.com by July 24 at 9 a.m. (EDT). Also please type in the words "The Cameo Spotlight DT Call" into the subject line of your email. We'll announce the designers by August 1. The first challenge does not take place until August 11.

There is a huge gap in this field and im sure your new venture will be a sure fire success. The only trouble is trying to choose only three projects to send to you ..... now thats going to be a real challenge !
ReplyDeleteMarie
Yeah a cameo challenge :-D I've only had mine a few weeks but I am loving how much easier it is to work with than my cricut so it's going to get MUCH more use and now I have another excuse to play with it twice a month ;-)
ReplyDeleteWelcome Marie and Craftilicious. Can't wait to see your projects!!! Thanks for coming by!
ReplyDeleteThis will be such a fun blog! I'm so excited to start participating in challenges! What an awesome idea!

ReplyDeleteI'm very excited about this blog. Since I've only had my Cameo a couple of months, I love the idea of this type of challenge to spur me to get more comfortable with my Cameo and use it more with my stamping and cardmaking.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Daniela and Cammie!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for posting about the call Daniela!!!
I agree Cammie, I think we'll all inspire each other to use our Cameos more in our cardmaking!
I'm really looking forward to seeing all the awesome ideas from this blog. I have a cameo and love it. It puts the other big name machines to shame! ;-) Would love to try for the DT, but will need to wait due to lots of activities at work and home.
ReplyDeleteJust what I've been waiting for - a challenge blog just for the Cameo. I've had mine since it launched over here in the UK - November '11 - but didn't start to use it properly until around March/April... i've done limited projects but ones i'm proud of - I just need 'themes' and challenges to spur me on - I might even give the DT a go but need to catch up with my blogging...
ReplyDeleteWishing you much success with this challenge and blog - hope it goes from strength to strength. A great way to pick up tips, knowledge and make new friends.
big hugs
